A Throwing Tomahawk is a specially designed axe for the purpose of single handed throwing at a target.

It's better to have at least two of these axes, then you don't have to do so much walking backwards and forwards to the target.

Remember throwing tomahawks, especially in the hands of novices, is harsh on the handles and will from time to time break. Keeping a few replacement handles will mean you can quickly start throwing again.

Approx weight 700g (1.6lbs). Including a straight grained hickory 480mm (19") handle. The handle is a taper-fit in the heads eye so normally straight forward to replace.

PLEASE NOTE:  When you first buy a throwing tomahawk, the handle is likely to require some minor shaping to make it fit the head more exactly. This is normally done with a wood rasp and abrasive paper.

The head of the Throwing Tomahawk is made in India and the hickory handle is made in USA.
