Premium Throwing Tomahawk with Sheath is a single handed throwing tomahawk with a leather sheath.
Our standard Throwing Tomahawk PLUS the following:
- Bevels are ground and polished to make it stick easier in a target, but NOT honed for cutting work
- Comes with a thick leather belt sheath
- The handle has been adjusted to fit the head, then sanded and lightly oiled with linseed oil and waxed
Well balanced tomahawk for recreational or competitive throwing at a target.
Remember it's better to have at least two axes to throw, then you don't have to do so much walking backwards and forwards to the target. Also a few spare handles!
Total weight 1.75 lbs, straight grained American hickory 490mm (19") handle which is a knock-fit for easy refitting or replacing.
The sheath, made from 3mm thick grain leather, is based on an old design. It has a belt loop and designed so the axe can be withdrawn from the top with the sheath remaining on the belt. It fastens with a thick leather thong. However please note that sheaths do vary in colour.
The head of Throwing Tomahawk - Premium is made in India, the handle and sheath are made in the USA.
Replacement handles are also sold.
