Made from robust 3mm thick waxy split leather, riveted, with 4 fastening straps and snap poppers.

The Morris General Pattern Slasher is a fabulous traditional tool, great to deal with overgrown vegetation at arms length.  They work at their best and at their safest when they ground correctly and maintained super sharp.

That's why to protect the edge from damage when not in use makes perfect sense. A protective sheath will also keep the user safe from accidental cuts when transporting the tool to site.
