Charcoal kiln chimneys typically last for many years, with our experience being about 10 years. This lifespan can depend on whether you can store them indoors during the winter when not in use.

Should indoor storage not be possible, it's reassuring to know that replacing them is straightforward when necessary with our Replacement Chimneys. Replacement chimneys for charcoal kilns are made from 1.5 mm ERW tubing.

Two sizes are available:

• Large - 4" external diameter, 6' long. As fitted to our 5', 6', 7', and 8' kilns.
• Small - 3" external diameter, 4' long. As fitted to our Mini and Midi kilns.

Chimney quantities: 

• Our 5' and 6' Ring Kilns use three Large chimneys (4" diameter).
• Our 7' and 8' Ring Kilns use four Large chimneys (4" diameter).
• Our Mini kilns use two Small chimneys (3" diameter).
• Our Midi kilns use three Small chimneys (3" diameter).
