A simple, strong, and efficient way to move logs. The Log Lift-n-Shift Log Arch is a robust yet lightweight tool designed for moving medium-sized felled logs with ease. It helps transport logs from awkward, restricted-access areas, keeping them off the ground and clean.
- For small woodland owners – Move logs to a track for easy loading onto a trailer or present them clean for a mobile sawmill or chainsaw.
- For arborists and landscapers – Extract felled butts from gardens or tight spaces without cutting them into smaller, lower-value sections.
Key features:
- Fits through narrow spaces – Requires only a 790mm (31") gate opening.
- Handles substantial logs – Lifts logs up to 350mm (14") in diameter and approximately 3m (10') long. Log weight may limit manual movement.
- Durable construction – Frame built from 50mm (2") steel tubing, powder-coated red for protection.
- Convenient storage – Stands upright when not in use, taking up minimal space.
- New ‘log-steady’ dogs – Includes a securing chain for extra stability.
Heavy-duty wheels:
- 400mm (16") pneumatic tyres
- 200mm (8") steel rims
- Roller-bearing solid metal hubs (must be greased before use)
Secure grip with UK-made log tongs:
- CNC-cut from 10mm steel with aggressively angled points
- Maximum opening: 16" (406mm)
- Designed for skidding only (not rated for lifting)
Weight and portability:
- Overall weight: Approximately 40kg
- Length: 1.7m (5'7") – fits easily into most vehicles or trailers
- Maximum combined weight rating: 310kg
