Made from durable cotton fabric and fastens with a simple cotton tie.

Straight carving knives are better kept in their individual leather, plastic or birch bark sheaths before putting into a tool roll.  This both for extra protection and to prevent the tool roll getting cut.

Our experience is that crook knives fit perfectly well into the pockets without a sheath but they would be better with a protective thin strip of leather.
