CHARCOAL RING KILN 8' is a good size to choose for commercial charcoal production.

A higher output kiln but still portable. For optimum efficiency, can be operated in conjunction with other similar kilns.  Whilst one or more kilns are burning others can be emptied and recharged.

Using native hardwoods it should be possible to achieve an average output of 250kg per burn.

An EXTENSION RING 8′ Charcoal Kiln can be added at a later date to increase output by approx 33%.  The original lid will still fit.

Made from mild steel of various thicknesses: (NOTE: ALL DIMENSIONS ARE APPROXIMATE)

• 1 x Ring – 3mm,  2400mm / 8′ diameter x 1000m / 39″ high (Top flange – 5mm, Bottom Flange – 10mm)
• 1 x Lid – 1.6mm with 25mm x 5mm stiffening flange
• 8 x Ports –  5mm
• 4 x Chimneys (100mm diameter 1.8m /6′ long ERW tubing)

It is always advisable to handle and move these heavy kilns with machinery or at least two people.
