Unlike polyurethane glues, which can be difficult to clean from tools and hands, Titebond III Ultimate is designed to be easier to manage. It cleans up with water when wet and can be sanded off without softening after it's fully cured. This glue is unaffected by finishes, solvents, heat, and is mildew resistant, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor projects.

Titebond III Ultimate has been independently tested for safety, including lead and cadmium content, under ASTM F963 and 16 CFR 1303, and conforms to ASTM D4236 for art and craft materials. It's described as an Advanced Proprietary Polymer (APP) by Franklin of USA.
