A versatile tool designed for precision, the Svante Djarv Carving Knife 17x60 is the ideal choice for small carving projects, be it spoons or coat pegs. Its design complements Svante's range of spoon knives. If you want to keep your carving knife kit to a minimum, this is the one knife you must have. The knife comes with a simple leather blade sheath for protection, and although delivered sharpened, a final honing would enhance its edge.

About the Maker - Svante Djarv Hantverk AB:
Svante Djarv Hantverk is a family business based in Avesta, Sweden, that specialises in creating hand-forged wood carving tools. Drawing inspiration from the Swedish metal-working tradition, they've built a broad range of tools, often in collaboration with experienced wood-crafters. Each year, they produce about 4,000 tools and knives, ranging from carving knives to axes, and they also have a unique tool line for children. Every tool is delivered ready for use, crafted from high-quality steel and complemented with handles made from Swedish hardwoods like elm and ash. Woodsmith has had a long-standing relationship with Svante and Elsa Djarv for over a decade, and we're proud to be the UK's largest stockist of their tools.
