The Svante Djarv Big Adze 1300g is the heaviest in a range of four by the Swedish toolmaker, Svante Djarv. Designed predominantly for the shaping of large bowls, this adze showcases an impressive blend of weight and precision. The curved edge, slightly flatter in the middle compared to the Mini Adze 400g and Small Adze 600g , paired with external and internal bevels, facilitates smooth and efficient carving. The handle, made of ash, boasts a ribbed texture for an enhanced grip. Each adze is furnished with a robust leather sheath by Woodsmith, adding an extra layer of protection to this fantastic tool.
