The Woodboy FINE 240-26 is the standard saw and the Silky Woodboy EXTRA-FINE 240-32 is the ultra-fine toothed version for an exceptionally smooth finish.
Traditional Japanese pull-saw pattern and as such is designed to cut on the pull stroke only.
As a traditional Japanese pull-saw pattern the blade will be under tension on the cutting stroke and will not be able to bow. Let the saw do the work.
Woodboy FINE 240-26 and Woodboy EXTRA-FINE 240-32 feature thin flexible blades so are perfect for intricate carpentry and can be used in flush-cutting situations.
The Woodboy Dovetail 240-32 has been created for complex carpentry such as dovetails. This is the Dozuki model with a reinforced back so it is not flexible and not suitable for flush cutting. Woodboy Dovetail has 32 FINE teeth per 30mm.
Non-set teeth and a taper ground blade.
The blade folds easily, via a quick thumb release button, into the aluminium alloy handle. It locks in two positions for tight spots and kerfing dados.
The handle is rubber-gripped and coated for ergonomic comfort.
