The ProEdge Woodworkers Square Guide is a simple but accurate square edge guide for the Robert Sorby ProEdge Sharpening System.
Adjustable to ensure exact and repeatable 90 degree angles can be achieved every time and is designed as an upgrade to the woodworking chisel jig (PESQ).
The guide is ideal for sharpening chisels, plane irons, and other similar square edge woodworking tools. The fence on the jig is adjustable to ensure a precise and repeatable 90 degree angle, and the stepped plate raises the tool away from the tool platform.
The machined runner bar on the base of the jig fits into groove on the ProEdge tool platform. This helps to unsure smooth, controlled passes of the tool across the abrasive belts, while keeping the jig securely on the rest.
The Woodworkers Square Guide for ProEdge is solidly made from aluminum and steel.
