Traditional Bark Spud is a professional quality medium size hand tool to remove bark from fallen trees.

Bark removal is best done in the spring/summer immediately after felling, when it should just fall away.

Made in the USA by the Peavey Manufacturing Co. who have been making traditional logging tools for more than 150 years

A strong iron blade 450mm (1 3/4") wide, gently curved and ground to about 35 degrees.

Features a strong socket into which is fitted a straight American ash varnished handle 40mm (15 3/4") long.

Traditional BARK SPUD has a total length 640mm (25").
