SWIVEL TIMBER CARRIER is a professional quality, traditional wooden handled timber handling aid rarely seen in the UK.

Ingenious piece of kit designed to move logs manually with two people.

Made in the US by the Peavey Manufacturing Company.  They have been making tough professional logging tools and aids for more than 150 years.

Specially hardened tongs can be positioned near the front of the log and partially skidded.  Or positioned just forward of the midway point to lift more of the load clear of the ground.

Available in three handle lengths:

Fitted with a very robust varnished American White Ash handle.

The weight of log capable of being lifted will depend on the strength of the people's back doing the work. Therefore care needs to be taken.

Standard 215mm (8 1/2") Duck Bill Hooks swivel for greater flexibility when walking with the log. This allows for movement through relatively narrow openings.

Swivel Timber Carrier has reassuringly strong metalwork.
