Its blade features slightly hollow ground bevels at approximately 24 degrees, providing both excellent control and ease of sharpening. Additionally, the distal taper of the blade ensures a balanced weight and precision, enhancing its overall functionality and handling. Knife arrives sharp, ready for use.

- Bevels: Slightly hollow ground bevels, approximately 24 degrees.
- Handle: Lightly oiled, crafted from Swedish ash or elm. Slightly rectangular in section, rounded for comfort and a firm grip. We always get emails asking whether our current stock is ash or elm. Answer is: we get a mix of both, but sometimes its just elm and sometimes its just ash. If you email us just before or right after you order, we can try and ensure you get your preference - but can't guarantee - sorry! They're both just as strong and beautiful as the other.
- Edge Protection: each knife is included with a 2mm thick leather riveted edge protector made in-house by Woodsmith.
