The Hans Karlsson Adze 60mm is an exceptional tool, hand-forged by the renowned toolmakers at Hans Karlsson Klensmide AB. Each adze is a testament to the Karlsson family's dedication to quality, crafted in extremely limited quantities.
The 60mm cutting edge, featuring a flat middle area, is specifically designed for efficiently hollowing out larger bowls, troughs, and crafting smooth chair bottoms. The flat area in the middle of the cutting edge allows for precise work at the bottom of larger bowls, reflecting the Karlsson family's profound understanding of a woodworker's needs. This knowledge is evident in every aspect of the tool's design and execution.
The 60mm adze is available in two handle lengths (please select using the drop-down box above):
- Short - 230mm (9 inches)
- Long - 430mm (17 inches)
Due to the exclusivity of the Hans Karlsson Adze 60mm, purchases are limited to one per customer. We invite you to select your preferred handle length from the drop-down box above. Each adze arrives sharpened, honed, and ready for use.
