The Hans Karlsson Adze 35mm is a finely crafted, short-handled curved adze, produced in limited quantities by the world renowned Swedish toolmakers at Hans Karlsson Klensmide AB. In Sweden, it's known as the Tjackelyxa Kort Skaft. Its design is particularly suited for carving smaller wooden objects such as bowls, spoons, and ladles, offering great control and ease of use.
This adze is distinctive for its light yet capable head, which makes it an ideal choice for detailed, precision work. It comes complete with a robust Woodsmith split leather sheath, custom-made to protect its edge. Weighing around 630 grams, it provides a comfortable heft for effective handling. Arrives sharp, honed, and ready to get to work!
Please note, due to the rarity of this tool - and to ensure as many people as possible get the opportunity to experience it - we will only accept one purchase per customer.
