The Gränsfors Bruk Double Bit Throwing Axe draws inspiration from North American working axes, however has been designed and modified for axe throwing. With twin symmetrical edges and a well-balanced centre of gravity, this axe is crafted to achieve a perfect rotation during flight, adhering to axe throwing standards and rules.
This Double Bit Axe can also be used as a working axe in the forest, although this is increasingly less common nowadays. In this case it should be longer, which is why the axe is also available with an 89cm (35 inch) handle and a palm swell.

We are lucky to be one of the few retailers of Gränsfors Bruk axes in the UK, which has been based on a long standing relationship between our small family business and their forge. We like to think that our close ties to the forge and the alignment in ethos between our two companies make us a knowledgeable, premium purveyor of their world class tools.
