Replacement Handle for Older English Adzes is a replacement long handle designed to fit some older English adzes with a tapered rectangular eye, also known as a Carpenters Adze Shaft. Made by Carters in Sheffield. 

Gently curved hickory, total length 900mm (36"). Rectangular end of handle approx. 58mm (2 1/4") x 37mm (1 3/8").

The handle will almost certainly require adjustments to the rectangular end to make a good fit.  May also require wooden wedges, which we can supply if required, but let us know when you order.

Please note the adze head included in some of the pictures is not included.
