The DMT DiaSharp Mini Hones Kit of Three is a convenient diamond honing kit of x3 mini-hones for free-hand touching-up of minor damage and bluntness. Great for deburring and honing in tight spaces.

Includes a Woodsmith three compartment leather sheath for storage and honing/polishing.

These Mini-Hones are particularly suited to the sharpening of Pole Lathe Bowl Turning Hooks and auger bits.

This kit contains the following three hones:

• Extra Fine (green) 1200 mesh,
• Fine (red) 600 mesh
• Coarse (blue) 325 mesh

The diamond cutting area on each hone is 65mm (2 1/2") x 19mm (3/4").

DMT DiaSharp Mini Hones Kit of Three has specially designed handles for comfort and ease of use.

Uses water as a lubricant to flush away sharpening debris. Remember always rinse and dry before storing.

The leather sheath that is included has two functions.  Firstly ,it safely stores the hones in one place and keeps them all together when not in use.  Secondly, you can rub honing paste into the leather and use it as a honing leather.
