The Council Tool Double-Bit Axe has a 3 1/2 lb head, made in the USA, and comes fitted with a straight 35" (890mm) hickory handle together with a palm swell which makes it suitable as a felling axe.

The edges come with a basic factory grind so if you intend using this axe as a cutting tool it will need sharpening before use.

Fitted with two simple leather stitched and riveted blade guards.
