The Bahco Splitting Axe 2400g is an axe designed for the efficient splitting of firewood.

Typically used to split discs of reasonably straight grained hardwood or softwood.
Product details:
- Distinctive concave cheeks starting slim then widening out ensure the bit gets a good start in the end-grain of the firewood discs efficiently busting the log apart.
- The 800mm (31 1/2") long curved handle is made from straight grained Ash.
- The head is secured with a jagged carbon-fibre wedge and a metal ring wedge.
The poll of this axe is NOT hardened so cannot be used to drive a splitting wedge.
