Ashley Iles Carving Starter Set is a relatively inexpensive but good quality set of carving tools neatly contained in a fabric tool roll.

Contains six carving tools including the following :

• 1/4" (6mm) x no.39, V gouge
• 1/8" (3.5mm) x no.11, straight carving gouge
• 1/4" (6mm) x no.9, straight carving gouge
• 3/8" (9mm) x no.3, straight carving gouge
• 5/8 (16mm) x no.5, straight carving gouge
• 5/8" (16mm) x no.1, straight carving chisel

The first number above relates to the size of the cutting edge from corner to corner and the second number (no.) is the sweep.

Overall length of each tool approx. 9 1/2" (240mm) incl. handle.

Includes a tough six pocket fabric tool roll.

The tools in the Ashley Iles Carving Starter Set are made from carbon steel with 4 1/2" beech handles.
